1.Kue Ku'
Kue Ku' is one of traditional dessert from Indonesia but maybe legacy from Chinese culture. It makes from glutinuous rice flour and for the filling we can use anything ingredients that we like...we can fill with coconut grate with palm sugar, sweet potato paste, etc. In this recipe i used Mung bean +black sesame seed paste.

Ingredients:
Tepung Ketan/glutinous flour 200 gr
Gula halus/Powder sugar 50 gr
Kentang kukus lumatkan/Mash potato 75gr
Garam/salt 1/2 sdt/tsp
Santan/coconut milk 125 ml
Pewarna green/green food colour/pandan paste 8 drops
Filling ingredients
Kacang hijau/Mung bean 30gr
Wijen hitam sangrai/black sesame seed 20gr (roasted)
Santan/Coconut milk 100 ml
Gula/4 20gr
Gula merah/Palm sugar 20 gr
Pandan leaf 1
Garam secukupnya/Pinch of salt
Direction :
Dough/kulit
Mix all the ingredients and make ball, put the ball fiĺling, and shape it with kue ku mould if you dont have it just shape as you like. And brush with oil and put in to pandan or banana leaf that you like to shape.
Steam about 15 minute but you must open the cover all the time if you want a good shape.
Campur semua bahan. Bentuk bola dan pipihkan kemudian isi dengan bola isi dan tutup kembali kemudian cetak di cetakan kue ku, oles minyak dan letakkan di atas daun pandan atau pisang. Kukus sekitar 15 menit tapi tutupnya harus sering dibuka supaya bentuk kue ku bagus.
Filling
Cook mung bean with water till soft. Blender mung bean and black sesame seed with coconut milk and add sugar and salt. Cook with low heat till become paste. Wait till cold and shape like balls.
Masak kacang hijau sampai lembut dan mekar kemudian blender dengan wijen hitam dengan santan. Tambahkan gula dan garam. Masak diatas api kecil sampai kalis dan bentuk bola-bola.
2. Mochi
Mochi is dessert that made from glutinous rice flour. In indonesia we can find many in Sukabumi. Mochi is familiar in Korea, japan and China. So many ways to mske mochi but my recipe is adapt from https://delishably.com/desserts/mochi but i added purple yam
Ingredients:
Water 2 cups
Mochiko ( sweet rice flour) 2 cups
50 gr purple yam mash (steam)
*i use glutinous flour rose brand
Corn starch for dusting
Sugar 1 cup
Pinch of salt
Filling
Nutella
Peanut Butter
Direction :
Mix together all dry ingrediens add water, mash purple yam and mix well.
Steam about 45 minute till the dough became like gummy or microwave about 15 minutes. when ready knead the dough till smooth and if sticky pour with corn starch.
Make balls and fiĺl it as you like.
